A card sent to my great-grand-father, presumably in 1906 for the birth of his first daughter.

Among the many treasures I found in my attic was this special issue of an old french-speaking magazine, Ici Londres, published by the BBC in May 1953 on the occasion of the coronation of her Majesty queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Abbey.

The magazine is meant as a companion booklet to the impending broadcasting by the BBC, so that French viewers could prepare themselves properly to the event. It was the first time BBC's cameras were allowed to fully broadcast the coronation of a british monarch, including the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

Wishing her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II a happy platinum Jubilee!

A happy Mother's Day!

Un très joyeux Noël à tous !

Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy New Year to all!
