Il y a des jours où l'on se dit que c'est parfois Noël avant l'heure, où dans la boîte aux lettres, à côté des factures et autres lettres d'amour des Impôts, une chose merveilleuse est là qui vient vous réchauffer le coeur et l'âme. Ce superbe ensemble à couture Quaker brodé par mon amie Myrna, qu'elle m'a fait parvenir comme un témoignage de notre amitié... Ai-je besoin de vous dire combien j'ai été émue ?
A wonderful and unexpected gift arrived the other day in my mail box, the kind that cheers up your heart and your soul, makes you forget the bills and love letters from the Tax administration and think it's Christmas time already! Sent by my friend Myrna as a token of our frienship, a marvellous quaker stitching set that moved me in such a way I could hardly find the words to thank her...
Un sac de nécessaire à couture orné d'un motif Quaker, le pochon pour le dé assorti et une merveilleuse pochette brodée de motfs d'oiseaux.
The lovely stitching bag held a tiny thimble pouch and a marvellous sewing case, all over ornamented with birds Quaker patterns.
Chère Myrna, encore une fois un immense merci, ton cadeau m'est allé droit au coeur.
