Ikat bag

Un mètre d'un très bel ikat en provenance directe d'Ouzbékistan, une commande spéciale de ma petite sœur, et hop, un cabas matelassé (merci Marie-Jo pour l'inspiration !) et sa pochette à portable assortie dans un reste du tissu !
My sister chose this very piece of blue and beige ikat from Uzbekistan and asked me make her a bag from it. I was also able to complement the bag with a matching mobile pouch with some fabric leftover.
Ajout d'un tissu bleu-gris épais pour le fond et les côtés, et matelassage maison à la machine. L'ikat a été utilisé dans toute sa largeur.
I added a blue-grey heavy fabric for the bottom and sides and machine-quilted all the pieces. The ikat has been used in its entire broadth.
