Recyclons, épisode I : le pochon à ficelle

Grande opération recyclage en ce moment, envie de triturer, couper, remodeler tous ces anciens matériaux que j'ai sous la main... Aujourd'hui, c'est un vieux morceau de lin, taché et déchiré, récupéré au fond d'un panier en rotin (ne rien jeter...), qui en a fait les frais !

Beginning today of our "Let's recycle" campaign! These days I feel like twisting, cutting, putting together all these ancient material I have at hand... One of the first victim was an old stained and torn piece of linen (most preciously kept... ) from an old rattan basket, turned into a pouch for my butcher's string.

Quelques points jetés sur un tout petit bout de toile de lin (surtout, ne rien jeter ! ), une petite poule tirée du livre Poules et Poulettes de Sophie Hélène, chez Marabout, un oeillet en haut pour fermer et un en bas pour laisser dépasser le bout de ficelle, quelques centimètres de cordelette pour le suspendre...

A few stitches on a tiny, carefully kept piece of linen (pattern from Poules et poulettes by Sophie Hélène, Marabout), two eyelets - at the top for closing and at the bottom for the string -  and a few inches of thin cord for hanging...

Et voilà, fin prêt dans la cuisine !
